Fines and Payments

Library Fine for Overdue Books

All students are hereby informed that the library fine rates for overdue books will be revised with effect from 01.02.2026, as detailed below:

• Lending Books
  Loan period: One week
  Fine: Rs. 10.00 per day
• Reference Books
  Loan period: One day
  Fine: Rs. 240.00 per day

To avoid incurring fines, students are strongly advised to return all borrowed books on or before the due date. Prompt return of library materials ensures fair access to resources for all users.

Payment of Library Fines

Library fines can be paid conveniently online. Please visit ipgss.pdn.ac.lk or scan the QR code displayed below to make the payment.

After completing the payment, students are required to submit a printed copy of the payment receipt at the Dental Sciences Library counter.
