“Hidden Treasures”

The Main Library, University of Peradeniya is delighted to announce the upcoming Art Exhibition titled 'Hidden Treasures,' scheduled from November 27 th to December 1 st , 2023, in celebration of International Week. This event is a highlight of the University's comprehensive program for International Week conducted by the International Relations Office (InRO).

The inaugural opening ceremony is set for November 27 th , 2023, at 11:30 AM at the Art Gallery, New Library Building, featuring the esteemed presence of Her Excellency Ms. Bonnie Horbach, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Sri Lanka, and Her Excellency Dr. S. Athira, Assistant High Commissioner of India, Kandy, Sri Lanka.

The exhibition promises a unique showcase of artistic endeavors by Professional Artists - George Keyt, Stanley Kirinde, George Claessen, Kenneth de Lanerolle, Richard Gabriel, and Chandra Malalgoda.
