The library has three reading rooms:
Current issues of periodicals in social science and humanities are kept in this reading room. Back issues of periodicals in the current year are also kept in the same shelves along with the current one. 55 seats are available in the room for use by the library users.
Permanent and quick reference collections such as bibliographies, encyclopedias, dictionaries, year books, directories and other reference works are kept in this reading room. This room accomodates 154 users.
This is the main undergraduate reading room where scheduled reference as well as permanent reference materials are kept. There are 326 seats available for use by the library users.
Reading facilities for students are also available in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th floors. Total of 178 supplementary seats are available in these areas.
